As part of a major border infrastructure strengthening initiative, VRC Group has been awarded the prestigious project for the Construction of 135 feet earthen bundh, metalled road and Naka cum machan fighting bunkers along the existing fencing across 179 km of the International Border in the Jammu Sector along the Indo-Pakistan Border (including land acquisition).

Executed under EPC Mode – Package I (BOP Nursery to Pittal Post), the project encompasses comprehensive civil, structural, and utility infrastructure development across strategically significant border locations in the districts of Jammu, Samba, and Kathua.

With a scheduled execution timeline of 27 months, as per the Letter of Approval dated 10.12.2025, the project represents a significant milestone in VRC Group’s expanding portfolio of high-value government infrastructure assignments.

Project Overview

This large-scale border infrastructure project focuses on strengthening defensive and operational capabilities along the International Border. The scope includes construction of earthen bundhs, lateral roads, defensive ditches, and Naka cum machan fighting bunkers integrated with water supply, sanitary systems, and internal electrical installations.
