Madhya Pradesh, India

As part of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited’s (BPCL) large-scale Bina Petchem and Refinery Expansion Project (BPREP) in Madhya Pradesh, the VRC Group is executing the Polymer Warehouse Package, a vital infrastructure component supporting BPCL’s polymer handling, storage, and logistics requirements. With a contract value of ₹274.77 Crore, this package is essential for strengthening the refinery’s petrochemical storage capacity and ensuring seamless downstream operations.
The project carries a total execution timeline of 19 months, defined as per the bidding documents and associated amendments.
Designed to support polymer processing and dispatch operations, this project involves the development of advanced storage infrastructure, mechanical integration, and supporting civil systems. The Polymer Warehouse Package covers an extensive range of construction activities, including warehouse buildings, storage blocks, utility systems, structural works, and associated foundation and finishing works required for safe and efficient polymer management.
With its comprehensive civil and structural demands, along with high safety and material-handling standards, this project illustrates VRC Group’s capability to deliver high-value industrial facilities critical to national petrochemical growth.
The project focuses on constructing robust warehouse structures engineered to accommodate large volumes of polymer products. The scope includes foundation works, RCC flooring suitable for heavy-load operations, structural steel erection, and architectural finishing tailored for storage efficiency and safety.
The warehouse design ensures smooth storage, segregation, and dispatch of polymer products. This includes the development of loading bays, platforms, utility corridors, storage racks, and internal circulation systems that streamline logistics.
To sustain warehouse operations, the project integrates vital utilities such as firefighting networks, stormwater systems, sewerage, service pipelines, drainage channels, and electrical support infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted operational continuity.
The package includes large-scale civil works such as substructure excavation, PCC/RCC foundations, retaining walls, external development, approach roads, pavement works, manholes, pits, and compound wall construction.
The scope also includes dismantling or reworking of select existing facilities to ensure optimal land utilisation and smooth integration with upcoming BPREP systems.
The Polymer Warehouse Package is a key component of BPCL’s larger refinery and petrochemical enhancement plan. With a focus on precision, safety, and performance-driven engineering, VRC Group is committed to delivering a high-capacity, technically superior warehouse infrastructure that strengthens BPCL’s polymer supply chain. This project reinforces VRC’s legacy in executing complex industrial infrastructure critical to India’s petrochemical growth.
