As part of a strategic border infrastructure development initiative, VRC Group has been awarded the project for Slope Protection Work of Border Road between BP 960 to BP 1012 on the India–Pak side at various locations in Gujarat Sector under BFD-IV, Tharad.

This critical assignment involves fencing works covering 11.40 km, including embankment strengthening, slope protection measures, and laying of filter materials from BP No. 985 to BP No. 1012. The project is designed to enhance structural stability, prevent soil erosion, and ensure long-term durability of border road infrastructure in sensitive terrain zones.

With an estimated project cost of ₹47.07 Crore, the work is scheduled for completion within 11 months, as per the Letter of Approval dated 13.10.2025.

The project focuses on strengthening vulnerable stretches of the border road network through engineered slope protection systems using gabions and filter media.
