As part of India’s strategic border modernisation initiative, VRC Group is executing the Replacement of the existing 32.20 kms Old Fencing with Improvised Smart Fencing (Phase II) along the India–Pakistan Border in Gujarat.
This critical infrastructure project covers the stretch from BP No. 921 to BP No. 1017, aimed at upgrading traditional fencing with advanced smart fencing systems to enhance surveillance capability, structural stability, and long-term durability in sensitive border zones.
The scope includes fencing works covering 11.70 km along with embankment strengthening, slope protection measures, and laying of filter media from BP No. 960 to BP No. 985. The project is designed to reinforce terrain stability while integrating improved security infrastructure.
With an estimated contract value of ₹56.66 Crore and a defined execution timeline of 11 months (as per LOA dated 08.01.2026), this project demonstrates VRC Group’s capability in delivering strategically significant public infrastructure under demanding operational conditions.
