Flood Restoration & Security Fencing Project – Jammu Frontier

In response to severe flood damage along the Indo–Pakistan Border, VRC Group has been entrusted with the execution of critical restoration and reconstruction works under the Jammu Frontier. The project focuses on rebuilding damaged and washed-away security fencing, lateral roads, bundhs, and associated infrastructure to restore operational readiness and strengthen border resilience.

This assignment covers Part I – Construction of New Design Security Fencing (23.678 km) and HML, ensuring enhanced structural durability and long-term performance in flood-affected terrain. The scope includes reconstruction of fencing systems, lateral road works, bund formation, and allied civil infrastructure essential for border security operations.

With a contract value of ₹98,32,14,623.00 and a defined execution timeline of 6 months (as per the LOA dated 10.02.2026), the project demonstrates VRC Group’s capability to deliver time-sensitive, strategically critical public infrastructure under challenging environmental conditions.

Project Overview

The project involves restoration and construction of new design security fencing across a stretch of 23.678 km along the Indo–Pakistan Border in the districts of Jammu, Kathua, and Samba.

The scope includes rebuilding flood-damaged infrastructure such as fencing, lateral roads, bundhs, and HML works to ensure improved stability, resilience, and operational safety. The works are executed under strict quality standards and within a compressed schedule to restore border functionality at the earliest.
