At VRC Constructions India Ltd (VRC Group), we recognise that respect for human rights is fundamental to responsible business conduct. We are committed to upholding the dignity, freedom, equality, and rights of every individual associated with our operations, including employees, workers, contractors, suppliers, communities, and other stakeholders.

We believe that sustainable growth can only be achieved when business success is aligned with ethical practices and respect for human rights.

Our Commitment

VRC Group shall:

  1. Establish and maintain a governance framework to ensure compliance with applicable human rights laws and standards.

  2. Integrate respect for human rights into business strategies, operational processes, and risk management systems.

  3. Provide a safe, healthy, and secure working environment across all project sites and offices.

  4. Prohibit all forms of forced labour, child labour, bonded labour, and any form of exploitation within our operations and supply chain.

  5. Uphold the principles of non-discrimination and equal opportunity in hiring, compensation, training, promotion, and separation.

  6. Respect the right to privacy and protect the personal data of employees and stakeholders.

  7. Encourage freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining in accordance with applicable laws.

  8. Promote fair, transparent, and accessible grievance redressal mechanisms to address concerns related to human rights.

  9. Foster awareness and understanding of human rights responsibilities among employees, contractors, and business partners.

  10. Integrate environmental responsibility and community well-being within our human rights framework.

Implementation & Accountability

Human rights responsibility is shared across all levels of the VRC Group. Every employee, contractor, and associate is expected to uphold this policy in both letter and spirit.

The Company shall periodically review this policy to ensure its continued relevance and alignment with evolving legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Alignment with Global Principles

This policy is aligned with the principles set out in:

  1. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)

  2. The ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work

  3. The United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights
